How Coaches Describe Him
Royce is a tough, hard-nosed player who is a great teammate and will do all the little things for the team. He can score in many ways on offense slashing to the basket, while also shooting a good percentage from the 3 pt line. He loves to compete and is willing to step in and take a charge on defense.
How His Teammates Describe Him
Playing with Royce is super fun because he is a straight dog. He is willing to do whatever it takes to win. He doesn't care if he doesn't score, he just wants to win. He doesn't back down from anything. He doesn't care if he is 6 inches shorter, he's going to battle every time.
On the court Royce brings so much great energy. You can't tell if he's playing good or bad, he always has a great attitude and brings energy.
Some of His Teammates Favorite Memories
My favorite memory off the court with Royce is when we were in Madison playing mini-golf and he missed a gimme and he threw his putter in the water.
Off the court he is super chill to hang out with. I have gotten to know him much better this year and really enjoyed talking sports or whatever with him.
